# Froggyhop

> Froggyhop is a free, fair traffic exchange (cross-promotion network) for indie web games. Site owners register, drop one `<script>` tag on their page, and the widget renders a small link-tree of *other* indie games in the network. Outbound clicks are credited back to the referring site, so traffic is traded fairly between independent developers. There is no money involved — the only currency is traffic.

- **How you join:** Register an account, get reviewed (every signup is checked to keep the network indie-only), then embed a one-line script tag.
- **What it does:** Your game is shown as a link on other indie game sites; in return their games appear on yours.
- **Balance:** Outgoing widget impressions are capped to roughly match your incoming traffic — you never give more than you receive.
- **Anti-fraud:** Every click is scored using heuristics (click cadence, referrer, viewport, interaction signals, IP reputation). Suspicious clicks count toward neither side of the balance. Every site is reviewed; no gambling, NSFW, auto-redirects, or malware.
- **Customization:** The widget is fully themable — fonts, colors, density, and orientation — to match your game's brand.

## How it works

1. **Register** — Sign up and verify your game site. Every applicant is reviewed to keep the network indie-only.
2. **Embed** — Drop one `<script>` tag where you want the link-tree to render. Theme it to match your game.
3. **Get players** — Your game appears on other indie sites. Outgoing clicks are balanced with incoming, after bot traffic is filtered.
